History

NBA titles won

2

1979, 2025.

Key moments

  • Won the 2025 title with the youngest rotation in the league and a record point differential.
  • The 1979 title was won in Seattle, as the SuperSonics.

Controversy

  • The club was moved from Seattle in 2008 barely a year after purchase, on emails showing the buyers never intended to stay — a relocation Seattle has not been given a team back for.
