History

Super Bowls won

2

2001, 2013.

Key moments

  • Won Super Bowl XXXV in its fifth season behind a defence that allowed 165 points across the 2000 regular season, a 16-game record.
  • Won Super Bowl XLVII in Ray Lewis's final game, through a 34-minute power cut at the Superdome.

Controversy

  • The club's handling of the 2014 Ray Rice assault case — a two-game suspension, then release once video emerged — forced the NFL to rewrite its personal conduct policy.
